A very good friend of mine is first cousins to Dale Earnhardt Jr. He asked me to do this carving as a gift for his cousin Dale Earnhardt Jr. This deep relief carving of the NASCARS is done in Tennessee Poplar supplied from Jefferies Wood Works in Seymour Tennessee. The NASCARS are carved in 1 ½ “ deep. NASCAR carving is finished in high gloss Deft. I really enjoyed doing this carving for my friend. I hope that sometime this year I will get to meet Dale Earnhardt Jr. in person.
